I gave up sleep over the past few nights in the search of a solution to tie JRuby on Rails into the JBoss cache server. With a little help from the never-resting gang over at #jruby (ok really, it was just Charles Oliver Nutter doing all the helping, but there were other people in the IRC channel laughing at my pathetic Java attempts) I managed to connect JRuby/Rails on JBoss to the JBoss TreeCache.
Expect a really slick plugin soon.
